Our Mission

The Michigan Goonies exist to develop competitive, disciplined, and skilled basketball players through elite-level training and challenging competition. Founded in 2015 and expanded to include a girls program in 2021, our program is committed to promoting amateur basketball in the Macomb County area while upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship, accountability, and teamwork. Led by an experienced coaching staff, we focus on building strong fundamentals, physical readiness, and a winning mindset that prepares athletes to succeed at the next level.

Our vision is to be a premier youth basketball program recognized for excellence in player development and competitive success throughout Michigan and beyond. We aim to create a culture where athletes are challenged, pushed to grow, and given opportunities to compete against top talent, while developing confidence, leadership, and character both on and off the court.
